Chicago Bliss defeats the Philadelphia Passion, 42-19.  Game pics click here.

We had a lot of fun at the Sears Center in Hoffman Estates on Friday.  The Chicago Bliss are a team that plays football in lingerie.  Booty shorts and sexy sports bra’s.

The Bliss played the Philadelphia Passion.  Casey and I were there with the CFD Blaze, the fire department team.

The Blaze sold a lot of tickets and brought a couple of bus’s of Blaze players, paramedics and firemen to the game.  They had a halftime tug of war against the cops.  They sold some t-shirts, and were treated very well by the Sears Center staff and the Lingerie Girls.  I suspect a lot of the emergency responders we brought to the game are now lingerie football fans.

Lingerie football is an interesting game.  The girls are wearing pads and hockey helmets, but have a lot of exposed skin.  This game resembles a cross between arena football, roller derby, hockey, Hooters and an underground fight club.  It is fast and the ladies are impressive, sexy and tough.

The ladies play HARD.  These girls are athletes.  I was on the field at halftime, and the astro turf is less forgiving then then old office carpeting.  Lots of turf burns are suffered by the women playing.  The girls want to win, and after almost every hard play, a fight must be broken up by the ref’s.  After big plays and scores, the athletes-ladies run into the stands.  These women love their fans.

The fans are into it.  They resemble UFC or MMA fans.  A lot of Affliction and Tap-Out gear is in the stands.  They were not only men.  There were ladies in the crowd, and everyone was into the game.

The firefighters send thanks to the lingerie football fans, and the Chicago Bliss Ladies, and the Lingerie Football League.  We had fun and raised some money for a great cause.  The CFD Blaze are raising money for children’s charities, like the Burn Camp.  Our season opener is approaching, April 10th, 2010 against the CPD Enforcers.

I took a few pics with a small camera, but they did not turn out great, if you click on the photo above you can see some game shots.  Casey took some great video, and we will be posting on our CFD BLAZE YouTube channel soon.  I also will be adding the some tug of war pics and video and some pictures of the after party.

I Love The Chicago Bliss & Lingerie Football

Chicago Bliss Lingerie Football League

I love the these ladies.  The Blaze are having a benefit with them on Friday, it is going to start at Mahoney’s Pub, in Chicago at Ogden and Racine.  The Blaze will be facing The Enforcers at half time of the Chicago Bliss game in a tug of war.  The enforcers are the Chicago Police Department football team.

The Lingerie Football league game is between the Philadelphia Passion, and the Chicago Bliss.  It is the Biss final home game, and it will be fun.  If you come to Mahoney’s Pub, you can jump on the bus with the Chicago Firefighters and Paramedics that make up the Blaze.  There will be beer, and a chance to win a 40″ flat screen TV.

The Blaze season starts April 10th, here in Chicago against the CPD Enforcers.  I promise, they will not look as good as the Bliss Ladies, and I hope they do not kiss…on the field.  If you want to see a little clip of Blaze football practice, check the guys out on You Tube here.

Going to add some new video soon.  They are practicing tomorrow, and Casey will be getting some more good footage.

Firefighters practicing for upcoming season.  The team is the CFD Blaze, and it is made up of Chicago firemen and medics.  First game is April 10th against the Chicago Police Department, CPD Enforcers at Brother Rice Field.  Both teams are of the NPSFL.  The original video was posted on You Tube.

The Blaze will be FIGHTING the Chicago Police Department, CPD Enforcers on Friday the 18th in a tug of war.  You can find the details on the BLAZE site. This is a fundraiser, and a great event.  It will be held at halftime of the Chicago Bliss game.

The Chicago Bliss are hosting the Philadelphia Passion.  This is real simple, and really awesome.  These ladies are lingerie athletes, and play in the Lingerie Football League.  The Chicago Bliss head Coach is Dennis “Silky D” McKinnon.

Festivities kick off at Mahoney’s Pub on Ogden and Racine in Chicago, and money goes to charity.  Hope to see you there.

Tuesday was CFD Football Practice

Posted on December 9th, 2009 by John Sostak

The Chicago Fire Department has started a football team, and they are in the NPSFL, National Public Safety Football League.  The Chicago Blaze is team number 25.  The first game will be against the natural rivals, Chicago Police Department Enforcers April 10th at Brother Rice Field.

Practice on Tuesday was 2 hours long, and the men looked sharp.  The practice was professional, the coaching staff is very experienced, and will get the team on the same page very quickly.

There is a great event coming up on December 18th.  The Blaze are going to have a tug of war vs. the police during halftime of the Chicago Bliss game.  The Bliss are our lingerie football team.  For more info, click here. I’ll be there, hope to see as many firemen as possible.
